LOWELL, MA   Roberta G. (Robin) Eitner Wily Fabian, 74, of Chelmsford, MA, passed away unexpectedly after a brief Illness on Tuesday, December 10, 2019, at Lowell General Hospital.

She was born at St. Luke’s Hospital in Fountain Hill, PA on May 9, 1945 and was the daughter of the late Robert G. Eitner (decd. in 1945) and the late June (Anna May Congdon) Eitner O’Neill Wily (decd. in 2005).  She was also preceded in death by a step father, Wayne F. O’Neill (decd. in 1953) and an adoptive father, Richard R. Wily, (decd. in 1989).

She was a graduate of Liberty High School in Bethlehem, PA.  She attended Wyoming Seminary, Forty Fort, PA, for a year after high school before going on to Moravian College to get her BA.  Following graduation, she attended St. Luke’s Hospital Nursing School receiving her RN.  In 1997 she also attended Keystone College in La Plume, PA, and graduated Magna Cum Laude with an Environmental Engineering Degree.
Robin worked as a Registered Nurse for well over 40 years.  She started her career at St. Luke’s Hospital and was in charge of the ER night shift for over 10 years.  She also worked in the ER at Easton Hospital in Easton, PA, and in a doctor’s office before she moved to Montana in 2000.

In Montana, she worked at a VA retirement home in Whitefish, MT and an assisted living facility in Polson, MT.  Caring for others was truly her calling in life.
Robin retired to New England in 2010 to be closer to her children.  She loved the outdoors and was an avid animal lover, especially Llamas and Alpacas, which she owned in Montana. She also enjoyed creating jewelry, especially beadwork.

She is survived by three children, Mark Fabian and his wife, Dawn, of Savannah, GA, Jennifer L. Breck and her husband, Russell, of Nashua, NH, and Scott Fabian and his wife, Jessah, of Norfolk, VA, and her grandchildren, Holden and Hadley Breck.  She is also survived by three siblings, Karen Rizzo (Vincent J.) of Murrells Inlet, SC, Brenda Morrone (Michael) of Northampton, PA and Jeffrey D. Wily of Bethlehem, PA.

Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Lowell Humane Society, 951 Broadway Street, Lowell, MA  01854.
