Radames DeJesus Rosado

Lowell – Radames DeJesus Rosado, 72, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at Life Care Center of Leominster. He was born in Jayuya, Puerto Rico, a son of the late Domingo DeJesus Guzman and the late Maximina Rosado Rivera. Radames was the beloved husband of Liliana Mercedes Rosario DeJesus of Lowell, with whom he shared 53 years of marriage.

Radames grew up in Jayuya and received his education there. As a young adult, he resided in Santurce, Puerto Rico, where he met his wife and began building his family. Later in life, Radames came to the United States, settling in Lowell.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Jose Almonte of Lowell, Viviana Almonte of Lowell, Luz DeJesus of Lowell, Arnaldo DeJesus of Lowell, Grimary DeJesus of Fitchburg, Iris DeJesus of Lowell, and Sandy DeJesus of Lowell. Radames will also be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren: Donovan Almonte, Kelilah Almonte, Diontai Almonte, Vivian Almonte, Thongxay Almonte, Joshua Almonte, Janiri DeLaCruz, Joenlly DeLaCruz, Radames “Randy” DeJesus, Anthony Sanchez, Matthew Sanchez, Denisha DeJesus, Xavier DeJesus, Aliomar DeJesus, Devon DeJesus, Ashley Candelario, Damien Candelario, Jayden Lozada, Jaythen Lozada, Jaydalen Colon, and Nevaeh Corona. Additionally, he leaves behind great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and five siblings: Elena DeJesus, Iris DeJesus, Jaime DeJesus, Bienvenido DeJesus, and Elio DeJesus.

Radames was preceded in death by his beloved grandson, Luis DeJesus.

Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, June 30, 2023, from 9a.m – 12p.m. at Mahoney Funeral Home, located at 187 Nesmith Street in Lowell. A funeral service will take place at 12 Noon in the funeral home, followed by a procession to the Lowell Cemetery for burial.
