Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

Nancy Ann Daigle

LOWELL Nancy Ann (Levasseur) Daigle, 65, of Lowell, passed away Sunday, March 30, 2025, at Lowell General Hospital. Even after a multi year fight with cancer, her passing was unexpected by those close to her. She was the beloved wife of Stephen Daigle with whom she had celebrated their Thirty Eighth Wedding Anniversary this year.

A daughter of the late Dell and the late Eileen (Nestor) Levasseur, she was born February 10, 1960, in Lowell, and was educated in the local schools, graduating from Greater Lowell Vocational High School. She then attended the University of Lowell, obtaining her Paralegal Certificate.

Throughout the years, Nancy worked for various law firms in the area, most recently for the Boulay Law Firm in Lowell for the past five years. She was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church.

She loved gardening and especially loved her pets, looking forward to seeing them at the end of each day. In addition she enjoyed reading especially crime drama books, but family was always her center and spending time with family and friends was her favorite past time.

In addition to her loving husband, Stephen, she is survived by her children, Sarah Sanders of Australia, and Nicole Daigle, Patrick Daigle, and Grace Daigle all of Lowell; her two grandchildren, Mia and Rory of Australia; her siblings, David Levasseur and his wife, Gail, of Vero Beach, FL, Mary Jane Levasseur and her wife, Lorraine Kelly, of Cambridge, and Dennis Levasseur of Maine, and their families; and her close friends, Nancy Fentross of Tewksbury, and Cindy Borden of Merrimack, NH.

You are invited to her visitation on Monday, April 7, 2025, from 9 until 11 a.m. at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, Lowell 978-452-6361. Procession will follow for her Funeral Mass at 12 Noon at Immaculate Conception Church, 144 East Merrimack St, Lowell. Such a beautiful person. We had so much fun as kids hanging out together every weekend . Swimming, cookouts and lots of laughs. Nothing more precious than a sweet loving cousin. Fly high sweet angel!
    Love Jilly

Oh Steve I’m so sorry to read this. It seems like just yesterday that Bill and I set you and Nancy up on a date that she was so nervous to go on. Which led to a super fun wedding. I’m so happy for both of you that you had so many great years together and had a wonderful family. I’m so sorry for your incredible loss.
