Maria Ligia Arango
LOWELL Maria Ligia Arango, 93, of Lowell, passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Lowell General Hospital with her beloved family at her side after a brief illness. Born in Colombia, she had made her home in Lowell for many years and was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church.
A loving and kind mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend, she will be missed by many throughout the area.
She was the widow of the late Gilberto Herrera Loaiza.
In accordance with the city of Lowell mandate, masks are required. You are invited to her calling hours from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at the Mahoney Funeral Home, 187 Nesmith Street, Lowell, 978-452-6361.
