Helping Families and Friends Honor Their Loved One

George F. Teague

George F. Teague… died.   If it were up to him that is where this obituary would end.  He was 86, a lifelong Lowell resident, and he passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at Lowell General Hospital. He was a wonderful son to his parents, the late George and the late Mary (Duffy) Teague throughout their whole lives.

He was born April 16, 1936, in Lowell and was raised and educated in the local schools.   Mr. Teague joined the United States Navy after High School, serving during the Korean War.  After his honorable discharge he returned to Lowell and worked for Raytheon Corporation in various locations until his retirement. He was a lifetime member of the Lowell Y.M.C.A. until Covid where he had many friends.

He was also a member of the Lowell Lodge of Elks, was an avid bowler, and enjoyed traveling with his family.  He will always be remembered as a wonderful son and the best brother that anyone could ever have.

His survivors include his sisters, Sharon Cyr and her husband, Donald, of Lowell and Jane Coutu and her husband, Jerry, of Chelmsford; his longtime friends, Raymond Montminy and Lynda Clark; and several nieces and nephews. His funeral services will take place privately.  Arrangements by the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, 978-452-6361.   To leave the family a message of condolence, find us on facebook or use our website.
