Dolores C. (Bell) Sullivan

LOWELL Dolores C. (Bell) Sullivan, 90 of Lowell, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Care One at Concord. She was the widow of the late Arthur F. Sullivan, Sr. who passed away on May 4, 1995 after nearly 50 years of marriage.

She was born in Lowell on March 31, 1932 and was a daughter of the late Robert Bell and the late Henrietta (Mullin) Stillings. She was raised in Lowell, where she attended the area schools.

Dolores loved making friends during her stay at Care One in Concord. She enjoyed volunteering at the Lowell Senior Center as well as gardening, bird watching, and music. Above all else, her family was the most important to her, they were her world. The love she gave and the love given back to her from her family brought her a lifetime of happiness.

Dolores is survived by her six children, Arthur F. Sullivan, Jr of Lowell, Mary F. Sullivan and her husband, David McKiernan of Boxborough,. Brenda Lescarbeau and her husband, Mark of Newburyport, Barbara Sayer and her husband, Robert of Dracut, Susan Daly and her husband, Mark of Ellicott City, MD, and Dot Sullivan and her husband, Tom Holland of Hampton, NH. She is also survived by her beloved 9 grandchildren and her 8 great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her two sisters, and her grandson.

On Wednesday, November 9, 2022, all are welcome to attend her calling hours from 4-7 p.m. at Mahoney Funeral Home, 187 Nesmith Street, Lowell, MA 978-452-6361. On Thursday morning, her funeral will begin at the funeral home at 9 a.m. followed by her funeral mass at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Church, 144 E. Merrimack Street, Lowell.
