Carlos Manuel “TT” Pimentel

LOWELL Carlos Manuel “TT” Pimentel, 75, of Lowell, passed away peacefully, Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Lowell General Hospital.  

Born November 14, 1946, in Ribeirinha – Ribeira Grande – Açores, he was raised and educated there. He worked as a farmer on his family farm before coming to the United States in the 1970’s. He settled in Lowell’s Back Central Street Neighborhood, He was a son of the late Eugéinio Salvador Pimentel, and the late Berta De Amaral Da Costa.

He made his home in Lowell and was proud of becoming a United States Citizen in 2011.  He was a hard worker and had been employed by Old Mother Hubbard for many years and had also worked for Prince Spaghetti. He then worked in Commercial Cleaning until his retirement. 

Mr. Pimentel had many hobbies including soccer and was an ardent supporter of Benfica. He also enjoyed spending time watching wrestling, was an animal lover, but found the most pleasure in time spent with his family. He will be remembered by all who knew him as a simple man who enjoyed the simple things in life.

His survivors include his beloved family, including Sandra Medeiros, Isiah Rivera, DeAndre Rivera, Jaiden Medeiros, Johnny Gonzalez, and Calvin Medeiros-Gonzalez as well as Amanda Medeiros, Maria Medeiros, his sister in Portugal and Peter, Carlos, and Cesar McCarthy all of Tewksbury.

He was predeceased by his son, Manuel, and the late Guilhermina Silva.

You are invited to his visitation from 4 until 8 p.m. on Thursday. On Friday, his funeral will begin at 10 a.m. at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, 978-452-6361. His Funeral Mass will be offered at ST. ANTHONY CHURCH, 893 Central St., Lowell, at 11 a.m. Burial will be held privately.     I have no words to describe how much you are truly missed TT WE LOVE YOU 😘 as our hearts break I want yours to be whole again! I wish I could of kept you here I would of done anything I mean anything but I know you are watching from up above🙏🏽
