Owen F. Conway
LOWELL Owen F. Conway, 65,of Lowell, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2019, at Meadows Health Care Center in North Andover. Over a year ago, he was diagnosed with a Brain Tumor and he always remained positive and fought very hard right up to Saturday when he passed away. He was the beloved husband of Lilia (Castilho) Conway with whom he would have celebrated their fourteenth Wedding Anniversary this coming December.
A son of the late Owen F. Conway and N.Marcia (Zacharer) Conway of Chelmsford, he was born March 20, 1954, in Lowell, and educated in the Lowell School System and then in New Orleans. He attained his Bachelors Degree as a Chiropractor and his Masters Degree in Business.
He made his home in the Belvidere Section of the City and was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church. Owen enjoyed his family and also loved music, playing the guitar, and playing the piano and always looked forward to the Lowell Folk Festival. He enjoyed teaching many subjects including the study of Chiropracting, anatomy, computer science, and ESL. He lived in Brazil from 1999-2005 and managed a Clinic as a Chiropractor. When he was a teenager, he moved to New Orleans for a few years and then lived in Portland Oregon where he worked as a teacher at the University of Western States until he moved to Brazil where he taught at Anhembi Morumbi University in Sao Paulo.
In addition to his beloved wife, Lilia, and his mother Marcia, he is survived by his daughter. He is also survived by his sister, Deirdre Conway.

I am so sorry to hear to hear. Dr Owen was my teacher at University in São Paulo/Brazil. He was increadible person.
