DRACUT Anthony James Armstrong, 51, of Dracut, died after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, December 23, 2012.
Born February 3, 1961, in Wilson, NC, he was a son of James Armstrong, and the late Mollie Mae (Haggen) Armstrong. He grew up and was educated in Lowell. More recently he resided in Dracut, he was a gifted woodworker, and furniture craftsman. In his free time he enjoyed building models, and especially spending time with his family and friends.
Besides his father James Armstrong of Dracut, he is survived by his brothers and sisters, Felicia G. Ehigiator, of Nashua, NH, Joseph (Walter) & Jaze McAskill of Lynn, Phyllis Petros and her husband, John, of Dracut, James Woodberry and his significant other, Lauren Coakley of Tyngsboro, and Katie Woodberry and her significant other, Steve McVey of Lowell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, including David Balakin of Lowell, who was his cousin and closest friend, as well as many many friends.
